Our Story
Exhale After Hours started with a simple frustration: Knoxville had nowhere to go after the sun went down if you wanted something real — something baked with care, something that didn't come from a machine.
We opened our doors at 108 E Jackson Ave SE with a small oven, a big batch of sourdough, and the belief that late-night hunger deserves better than gas station snacks. Every loaf, every pastry, every jar on our shelves is chosen the way you'd choose for your own table.
We're not fancy. We're not closed at 6 PM. We're your neighbors who happen to know that the best bread in Knoxville is still warm at midnight.
What We Offer
Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, and seasonal loaves — all baked from scratch each morning. Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, never rushed.
Butter croissants, Danish, fruit tarts, and daily specials. Every pastry is laminated, filled, and glazed by hand — no shortcuts, no freezers.
